The land based cousin of the ultra collectable and iconic Seiko Arnie (H558-5000/09), the Fieldmaster is even rarer to find and opportunities to acquire them are few and far between. The watch features the same functions as the Arnie, but sports a bead blasted case and a rotating compass 'ash tray' style outer bezel. The dial is accompanied by an inner bezel that features marking references for ground to air signalling. The H558-5010 was designed with ruggedness in mind and supposedly has been worn on expeditions up Mt. Everest et al, and adventures to the North and South Poles.

This particular example is in very good condition and retains all of its original parts (including the original leather strap!). A sound investment and an opportunity to own an example most Seiko collectors do not own, and due to the rarity may never have heard of!

The water resistance has not been checked so cannot be guaranteed.
