The 7A28 series was introduced by Seiko in the early 1980s and the technology employed was pioneering at the time. This series was the first quartz chronograph movement produced with an analogue display and has really earnt its place in horological history. Not only is the watch capable of measuring 1/10ths of seconds (watching this is mesmerising!) the tenths hand hits 0 at the exact same moment as the second hand hits each second- a true indication of the time, thought and effort put in by Seiko.
This particular watch, the Pogue variant, is in great condition for its age and all functions operate correctly. The watch has received a deep clean and new gaskets so the buttons do not stick. A new battery was fitted recently.
The water resistance has not been checked so cannot be guaranteed.
